Behaviour Consultations
Our behaviour consultations are unique in that we include a whole dog approach when dealing with behaviour.
A recent study found that upto 80% of dogs that present with behaviour problems had some form of undiagnosed pain that was a direct cause of, or contributing factor to their challenging behaviour.
Pain related behaviour is extremely complex and dogs don't always show discomfort in ways we would expect. It is often subtle and goes unnoticed.
Vets have a difficult time diagnosing these issues due to time restraint of a consultation or mainly because when a dog is fearful of the vet surgery or anxious being touched, the adrenaline running through their system can mask the pain. Or if a dog is tense it will not move fluidly for the vet to examine them as they would like.
Our behaviour modification programme ensures that any underlying issues can be dealt with to make the behaviour work we do more effective.

We do not provide behaviour consultations without this level of analysis as it is a fundamental approach to helping any dog that is experiencing issues.

The assessment is a hands off approach and i am trained in canine biomechanics and gait, posture analysis.
A full report is then available for your vet and behaviour help provided.
Instead of just trying to eradicate a behaviour we address the whole dog and make changes not just to how they behave but how they feel.
